BAIK ART GALLERY - JAKARTA

On this occasion, I was appointed as an architectural photographer, to take interiors from Baik Art Jakarta. The challenge for this opportunity, besides me taking photos with architectural style & techniques, I also have to pay attention to every work of the artists so that it can be perfectly captured.
This November, BAIK ART opens its third location in Jakarta, Indonesia with an inaugural exhibition titled Tumpeng. This new expansion can be traced back to BAIK ART’s persistent residency exchange program with Indonesian arts institutions and artists and aims to deepen a dialogue between Indonesian and global art scenes.

With an exciting roster of artists and exhibitions across three distinct locations, BAIK ART continues to further its leading role as a connector between LA, Seoul, and Jakarta.

Although he takes inspiration from somber sentients, his works are characterized by a whimsical universe filled with beautiful ornamental details. Working primarily in painting and drawing, Atreyu has recently explored sculpting and remains open to cross-disciplinary collaborations.

EDDY SUSANTO
Lives and works in Yogyakarta, Eddy Susanto is one of ArtSociates’s most important artists. He studied graphic design before embarking in his art career; this was possibly the influence to his prudent, erudite approach in art. His artworks are created by conducting extensive researches on certain points in history, exploring the notions of historical narratives and the development of identity. They portray fragments of local history parallel to the world’s history, interpolating cultural identity of the East into the historical elements of the West.
